“Te cunosc de undeva” is the Romanian version of the international show “Your face sounds familiar”, airing on Antena 1 starting March 2012. The show is challenging local stars to transform themselves into famous artists, by imitating their voices, choreography and physical aspect under the direction of a specialized jury.

With over 250 transformations on this show, it is one of my longest collaborations, a place where I have learned and developed so much. The tensioned and difficult moments were balanced by professional success and satisfactions which gave me the confidence that I know what I’m doing and that I am doing it well, stimulating my curiosity and perseverance, and all the things I have learned there have reflected in other successful collaborations.

iUmor is an entertainment show broadcasted by Antena 1 in which contestants from various areas (stand-up, magic, theatre or circus) try to impress the jury to win the final prize. The show reached its 17th season in 2024, continuing to be one of the longest comedy shows in Romania. Over the years, the jury included personalities such as Mihai Bendeac, Delia, Cheloo, Catalin Bordea or Cosmin Natanticu, their role being to vote the contestants’ performances to send them to the grand finale.

I have fully collaborated with this show’s production, being part of its start and its evolution. A complex, challenging show, much more complicated than what appeared to be on TV, situation shifts and last-minute programs, changes in concept, all of these helping me to more easily adapt to extreme and critical situations, and the fact that together with the production team and my coworkers we have managed to carry it through is a proof of our professionalism and commitment.

Nowadays, when social media dictates new paths, sets trends, preferences and limits, collaborating with various influences is extremely important and defining for me as an artist and professional in the field I work in. Makeup is the first element with which the viewer takes contact with, that is why it is very important for it to accurately and faithfully capture the established concept, to attract and to convince the person in front of the screen to continue using the final product.

I consider this pressure to be a challenge, a motivation to do things right, but also in a short amount of time, the result being what brings to me a real satisfaction every time I put down my brush or my spatula and the actual shooting begins.
