About AS

2016 – “Don't worry, you are beautiful today!” – do you remember? An idea, a thought, a phrase, a manifesto written on a wall in the subway – “Unirii” metro station… 1 or 2, honestly, I don't remember it well…

I had just finished the Kruger-Brent Agency makeup school, which still belongs to the person that owns the only store offering professional makeup products dedicated to industry professionals – Make Up For Ever. Exactly, the one on 13 September 117, because very few people know that Make Up For Ever is a brand of professional makeup products. Most heard this name when it was bought by Sephora from Dany Sanz, the brand creator that created this benchmark in the makeup world because she couldn't find products that matched her style of expression.

I graduated from makeup school in 2014, and it took some time to find my path — my own path, not the one “dictated” by the times, money, or trends. That's when ‘Stop worrying, you are beautiful today!’ was born, and today you have a concept in front of you that fully represents my maturity, both personal and, above all, professional.

“Stop worrying, you are more than just makeup!” combines the impulse I had in 2016 with all my knowledge and experience that I want to pass on, not as PR or marketing, but as an idea of “pay it forward”, because let's face it, it sounds better in English. I want to bring beauty back to where it belongs and to offer it every day to all the women, even to those who say “Whether I wear makeup or not, there are still others more beautiful.”

You're wrong! Oh, God, you are so wrong! Everyone, especially women, are beautiful in their own way, and “Stop worrying, you are more than just makeup” is all about that! I know it may sound strange, but makeup doesn't matter! Is the person who “sells” this really saying this? Yes! I learned an essential thing back when I was still in makeup school: if someone compliments your makeup, that is totally wrong! The right thing is to be told that you look good because you are wearing makeup, that you are glowing, people should ask you “Did you do something to look so good?”, not “this makeup suits you!”. When it’s the makeup that gets all the compliments and not you, something is wrong! When you appreciate a painting, you don't primarily appreciate the technique it was made with, but what it makes you feel, right?

And now we are here. In the present. Why are you reading these lines? Because I want to show you that there is no “right makeup”, “this makeup is the only one that suits me”, “this is how I look good”, “this is the only makeup I wear”. First of all, it’s you! And, on the “canvas” of your face you decide how to “paint”, the only important thing is to know what products suit you, how to mix them, what flatters you or not and what “the best mix” is. No one told you this, although you knew it! Not all products suit everyone and not everything is good for everyone.

So, relax, enjoy the experience and, most importantly, enjoy the ride! You will understand at the end that this is not just “another course”, “another workshop”, “another way to escape stress, work and the daily routine”. It’s your gift for yourself! It’s time to have your own time with yourself!

Endnote: I hope you understand that everything I’ve created through this concept is part of me, of who I am, of what I’ve learned, of what I feel I should give back to the world, out of empathy, love and gratitude!

I hope you are smiling now, because a smile is the best makeup!
